Boys ’10 – White

The Boys 2010 White team will compete in the GCSL at a mid-level division. It will also participate in a number of local and regional tournaments. The team will focus on developing individual skills and improving team play. We also participate in a number of locally-oriented service projects and community events.

Coaches

Head Coach: Paul Bunch

Paul has lived in Loveland since 2004 and is the proud dad of 5 kids, including 2 Storm players. He has been coaching soccer in Loveland for 10 years, and he has coached with Storm for the past 4 years. He currently has a US Soccer Coaching F License as well as Grassroots 7v7 and 9v9 Licenses. He has also coached youth basketball for the past 5 years. Paul played a variety of sports growing up, including in high school, and he is big believer in the value of kids playing multiple sports. He strives to teach his players both good technique and good sportsmanship and he works to create a positive and supportive environment with his players.

Assistant Coach: Doug Smith

In late 2018, Doug, his Wife and 2 kids (B10 Storm and G13 Tiger Cubs), relocated to the Loveland area from Buffalo, New York. This is Doug’s first year assistant coaching Storm soccer and he has 5 years of experience coaching various youth sporting programs. Doug played sports throughout high school and college and strongly believes playing competitive sports is a great way to help kids develop the appropriate skills to be successful throughout life. Doug is currently progressing through the Grassroots courses to obtain his coaching license.

Assistant Coach: Jon Gummow

Jon has lived in Loveland since 2007 with his wife and has two sons, both who are a part of the Loveland soccer program (B10 Black and B12 Soccer Academy). Jon started coaching for Loveland Storm soccer in 2019 after previously coaching recreational soccer and baseball in the Loveland area over the previous 5 years. Jon played soccer competitively in high school and in college at Case Western Reserve University. Jon has completed the Grassroots coaching license and is planning to begin work on his D license when next offered by the club. Jon strives to create a positive environment while setting high standards for work ethic, sportsmanship and being a good teammate, which will serve the players well both on and off the field.
