FC Storm and its sister recreational soccer division (LYSA) are offering supplemental training opportunities for both select and recreational players.  Dates, locations and fees are listed below for the training and camps planned this spring and summer. 

This summer we are offering a summer camp for select players.  FC Storm and Premier players are welcome to attend any of the camps as well.

Camps are open to all players; you do not have to play for FC Storm to attend.

Spring break camps are held at each of the Training Campuses; Indian Hill, Milford and Loveland.  They are open to all soccer players regardless of club affiliation or skill level.  Field locations at each Campus are listed below.

FRIDAY NIGHT TRAINING

This training is for players of any skill level.  It will focus on the foundational ball and player skill development following the FC Storm training curriculum.  Training is conducted in a fun, positive environment.  The 2016 training will help players prepare for U9 select soccer tryouts in May.  The training staff includes professional trainers who work with FC Storm teams.

Players will be divided by birthyear.

5:00 – 6:00 pm — 2016 birthyear
6:00 – 7:00 pm — 2015 and 2014 birthyear
7:00 – 8:00 pm — 2013, 2012, 2011 and 2010 birthyears

The Summer Soccer Camps are geared towards the recreational player, though select players are welcome to attend.   Soccer is taught in a fun environment that encourages players to try without fear of failure.  We believe in positive reinforcement.  Our hope is that players improve their skill, develop a love of the game and have fun. The Camp will be run by our professional trainers and the FC Storm Sr. Director of Coaching.

The three Camp options are offered both weeks of camp.

Tiger Paws

Fun themed games to engage players and teach simple soccer skills

Half Day Camp

Each Day Includes

9:00 – 9:20 – Warm up/arrival activity
9:20 – 9:50 – Ball mastery/fakes and turns
9:50 – 10:30 – Main topic of the day.

Monday-dribbling . . . Tuesday-passing . . . Wednesday-shooting . . . Thursday-recieving & possession . . . Friday-fun games from the week.

10:30 – 10:50 – Fun games with daily skill focus
10:50 – 11;00 – Snack break
11:00 – 12:00 – World Cup (small sided scrimmage tournament)

Full Day Camp

9:00 – 2:30 pm

Half Day Camp Schedule Plus

12:00 – 12:30 – Supervised lunch (pack your own)

12:30 – 2:00 pm – two additional hours of ball skill training and small sided activities and games

FC STORM SELECT SOCCER CAMP

$200

This camp is geared towards the select soccer players with a stronger focus on the technical ball skills and their application in a game environment.  The camp will be a week of high intensity training based around FC Storm’s Curriculum with a focus on
— Dribbling
— Passing and receiving
— Shooting
— Defending

Each session will finish with small sided games to encourage the use of the skill worked on that day.

The camp will be run by FC Storm professional trainers and the FC Storm Sr Director of Coaching.
