2025-26 Premier Teams Announced
FC Storm is excited about the grow of the Premier Division. Beginning Fall 2025, FC Storm will offer a Premier 1 and a Premier 2 team at certain ages in response to the growth in both interest and talent level in the Club. The Premier 2 teams will have the same training and tournament experience as current Premier teams. Looking forward, offering more players the opportunity to participate in the Premier Division at U11 & U12 establishes a strong foundation for competitive older teams, including high school. Building a larger player base and supporting strong teams at older ages has always been a vision of FC Storm. FC Storm anticipates that the Premier Division will continue to grow in the future.

Team formations are ultimately determined by the number and talent level of the players who attend tryouts. The formation of Premier 2 teams is based on the Club’s thoughtful and hopeful projection, but it could be subject to change.

FCS Premier
BOYS and GIRLS TEAMS
U11 to U19
FCS Premier is for U11 to U19 players who are seeking the next level in skill development. Players experience more rigorous training and more competitive league and tournament play. Premier teams are formed at based on skill level, game aptitude, growth potential, commitment, and physical and mental readiness for more rigorous training.
FCS Premier teams will play in competitive regional and state leagues including the upper divisions of Buckeye Youth Premier League, Ohio Soccer State League and Great Lakes Conference. All coaches are specially chosen for their ability to train more advanced players. The current list of Premier coaches are listed below.
TRAINING | Premier teams train 3 nights a week in the fall and spring under the supervision of the Premier Director of Coaching. Winter training begins in early November and ends at the end of February (with time off from mid-December to early January) and includes 6 weeks of indoor futsal training and 12 weeks of outdoor training. Premier teams are offered strength and conditioning training in November and December with a professional strength and conditioning trainer.

LEAGUES | Premier teams can expect to play from 8 to 12 fall and spring league games depending on the league.
TOURNAMENTS | FC Storm Director of Coaching is responsibile for tournament placing in collaboration with the Head Coach. Premier teams typically play in three fall tournaments and two spring tournaments. In addition, all Premier Teams entered in the OSA State or Presidents’s Cup in the spring.

All Premier teams participate in a service project each year to support organiztions that support a variety of services beneficial to our communities.

Late May
Tryouts occur in late May. All interested players are required to attend.
June and July
No formal training. Teams often hold pick-up games either as a team or as part of an age group.
August through October
Fall training begins in early August when all teams participate in a Pre-Season training camp.
League play runs from the end of August until the end of October. Premier teams typically play in the upper divisons of the Buckeye Premier Youth Soccer League with more competitive teams playing in Ohio Soccer State League or the Great Lake Conference.
Premier teams participate in 3 tournaments in the fall; tournaments are picked to challenge the teams by matching their skill with the appropriate tournament bracket. Older age teams generally travel to an out of town tournament.
