LYSA Graduating Senior Scholarship
2024 Scholarship Application
Every spring the Loveland Youth Soccer Association/FC Storm offers $1000 scholarships to two Loveland area graduating high school seniors, one male and one female, who played, refereed and/or volunteered for Loveland Youth Soccer Association (including FC Storm). The applicant must be enrolled in a college/university/school for the 2024 fall semester for the purpose of continuing his/her education. Applicants do not need to be attending Loveland High School.

- Attach an essay about how being a part of Loveland Youth Soccer as a player and/or a referee has positively influenced your life (250 to 500 words) and what you plan to do with the scholarship money.

Timeline
The scholarship application must be completed and submitted to LYSA by March 1, 2024.
Selected applicants will be notified by April 1, 2024. If the scholarship winner(s) attend Loveland High School, their award will be presented to them in May at the high school recognition event. Separate arrangements will be made for winners who attend other high schools.
Award
Each scholarship recipient will receive a one time award in the amount of $1000.
If there is not a worthy applicant in a given year, no scholarship may be awarded. The scholarship will be awarded to an applicant only once.
Selection
A committee consisting of LYSA Board Members will select the scholarship recipients. The committee will review the applications with names and schools removed. The award will be given directly to the winner(s).
