REFLECTIONS
FC Storm is a vibrant club with a rich offering of training programs to build skill and confidence in players and continuing education opportunities to enable our talented staff to grow in their roles as coaches and trainers.
FC Storm Vice President Jessica Buringrud and Director of Coaching Anthony Doherty took time out recently to reflect on the Fall Season.
HIGHLIGHTS
As we wrap up the fall season and head to winter training, we reflect on how grateful we are to our teams, coaches and families who call FC Storm home. The past seven months have been a busy and productive time in FC Storm. A few of the notable highlights:

- FC Storm has grown to 60 teams
- Expanded programing to keep pace with the growing needs of our teams
- Continued progression of teams competing at higher levels
- Full implementation of a club-wide curriculum that is creating consistency and improved outcomes of training across all teams
- Coaches and staff’ commitment to player development and serving in a way that is genuinely making an impact on and off the field.
DRIVEN BY CORE MISSION AND VALUES
Many of clubs have mission statements and core values, but unless actions bring them to life they are not impacting its players. FC Storm is committed to Growing, Training, Serving and Laughing; developing important and impactful life skills through the platform of soccer. Thank you for your commitment to FC Storm and the perspective that so much can come from what we learn though play. Every moment matters on and off the field and we are committed to equipping our players for soccer and life.
MAKING AN IMPACT
FC Storm is is making an impact

- Completed 46 service projects
- Over 150 entries into tournaments,
- 27 tournament champion/finalist finishes
- Competed in 4 different leagues from local to state & regional levels
- Offered 3 USSF coaching education courses
- On track for ALL coaches to have at least a D license by the Summer of 2026
While we set out to intentionally grow players, we are also growing coaches and growing as the storm community. The standard of excellence continues to rise because of the commitment of our players, coaches and staff.
EXPANDED TRAINING TO MEET PLAYER NEEDS
Training opportunities, programming, and staff contineu to expand to meet the needs of a stronger player pool. This Fall we offered a second Premier team in our boys 2013 age group. More teams and players will have the opportunity to try out for Premier teams in the 2025-26 Playing Year.
Winter training programs includes; Futsal at LHS gym, x-factor Futbul (U9), TOCA with our Director of Coaching, Kyle McLaughlin (U10). FC Storm Directors of Coaching and staff trainers, Anthony Doherty, Edwin Sam Jr., Conner Clark and Ross Atkinson will be training at Loveland High School (U11-U19). Melissa Giambrone is running strength and conditioning training at Crossfit Illuminate and Goal Keeper training with Payton Hasse (U.C.) at FX Athletics. Edwin Sam Jr., High School Age Director of Coaching and College Resource Coordinator is working with FC Storm players who are interested in playing soccer in college. FC Storm just held its first college resource meeting in November. Things have been busy and we are everywhere!
