Anthony Doherty

FC Storm Sr. Director of Coaching

Anthony brings a depth of coaching and training experience to FC Storm.  He has been instrumental in developing the FC Storm program since its inception.  He is pursuing his US Soccer B Coaching Licence.  Anthony has trained and coached recreational and select players from five years old to high school varsity players as well as coached at over 75 camps in 15 states. From 2019 to 2022 he served as the Loveland High School Assistant Varsity coach for men’s soccer.

Since 2014, Anthony has been training players in Loveland. In 2017, he began working year-round with Loveland Youth Soccer Association to improve the quality of training across the recreational program. He is the Director of the FC Storm Academy program, a highly regarded development program for U7 and U8 players. 

Anthony was born in Manchester, UK where he excelled in soccer as a youth. He began coaching soccer for the local clubs he grew up playing for. After completing high school, Anthony a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Coaching from the University of Central Lancashire in Preston. While at college, Anthony worked as a performance video analyst with the professional soccer team, Blackburn Rovers, that was in the Premier League.

Anthony and his wife, Paige, have three future Storm players.

Recreational Soccer

Everywhere Kyle has gone he’s been a leader involved in the game of soccer. Kyle grew up in the Cincinnati area and attended LaSalle High School where he was captain of the soccer team. He attended NKU where he helped restart the club team. He led and played there for two years. Currently Kyle plays semi-professionally with Atletico Cincinnati in the PASL and professionally with the Cincinnati Swerve in the MLIS.

After beginning his coaching journey in 2016, Kyle worked at LaSalle in the GCL South for three years as an assistant coach and Badin as the Men’s Co-Head Coach for two years. When he made the switch to coaching women’s soccer, he started with Badin Women’s for two years as an assistant coach before being hired as Colerain High School Women’s Head Coach in late 2022. Throughout his high school coaching career, he worked with the select soccer club, FOSC, where he coached a range of age groups .

Kyle serves as the Executive Director of Recreational Soccer in Loveland (LYSA) where he is responsible for the community’s seasonal soccer programs for players age 2 to 19.

He is married to Alyssa. They live in Cincinnati with their dogs, Archer and Bodie, and enjoy hikimg and playing soccer together whenever possible.

Edwin Sam, Jr.

Director of Coaching

U13 to U15 Boys and Girls

Edwin joined FC Storm in June 2023.  He oversees the coaching and training for the U13 to U15 boys and girls teams.

In the fall, Edwin is the Varsity Head Coach for Women’s Soccer at Goshen High School in 2020.In his coaching staff’s first year the team improved its goal differential from -37 the previous year to +11. The following season Goshen posted its best record since 2009, first conference winning record since 2009, and most shutouts since 2007.

Edwin was born and raised in the Cincinnati area and attended Cincinnati Country Day School (CCDS) where he played four years of varsity soccer and track & field. Following high school, he attended the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business where he studied Marketing and Legal Studies.

Following graduation from Penn, Edwin became the Varsity Assistant Coach and JV Head Coach for thExit Visual Buildere Cincinnati Country Day School’s Men’s Soccer program, winning the 2018 Miami Valley Conference championship. For three seasons, he also served as an Assistant Track & Field Coach for CCDS when the team won two Ohio Southwest District Team Championships and the 2019 Miami Valley Conference Championship. Currently, Edwin has previously trained teams at Alliance Cincinnati and coached high school teams at Sporting Queen City soccer club.

Conner Clark

FC Storm Sr. Trainer

U11 and U12

Conner grew up in the Milford area playing club soccer through high school.  He received All City and All State awards as a member of the Milford High School Eagles Team.  Conner played collegiate soccer all four years at Transylvania.  Three of the four years they were in the NCAA post season tournament.

Conner currently plays semi-professionally with Valhalla FC.  The teams plays in the OVPL League and recently participated in the Open Cup qualification series.

Conner has extensive coaching and training experience with a number of local select clubs.  He is sought our trainer who has offered private training for five years.

Conner works with a number of FC Storm teams throughout the year.  He’s the primary trainer for the 9v9 age group.

We utilize coaches who are passionate teachers, thoughtful trainers and patient instructors to advance the soccer skills of our players.
