TRYOUT
INFORMATION
PLAYER TRYOUT INSTRUCTIONS
- Register for tryouts
- Arrive at the field 30 minutes before the start time to check in. Check-in locations will be clearly visible at each field. Tryouts start and end on time.
- You will receive a numbered tryout t-shirt. This shirt must be worn to all tryout sessions. The number on the shirt will be used to track players through the tryout process.
- If you cannot attend the second night of tryouts, let the Staff know when you check in.
- If you cannot attend the first night of tryouts; email Jennifer Paumier, Club Admin, at [email protected] so the tryout coaches can be notified.
- Bring to tryouts – water bottle and soccer ball with your name on both.
- Wear dark shorts and a lightweight shirt that can be worn under the tryout shirt.
- Do not wear clothing with any club affiliation; this includes current FC Storm players.

May 19 & 20 | Girls Select Tryout
May 22 | Girls Select offers made within 48 hours after last tryout session (if Friday, May 23 is used as a rain day, offers will be made by May 25)
May 21 & 22 | Boys Select Tryout
May 24 | Boys Select offers made within 24 hours after last tryout session (if Friday, May 23 is used as a rain day, offers will be made by May 25)
May 24 (Girls) & May 26 (Boys) | Deadline for responding to offer
EXPERIENCE STORM WEEK
Non-FC Storm players are invited to ‘give the club a test drive’ by joining a training session the Week of April 21st with a team of your age and gender. Fill out the Registration Form to let us know you plan to attend.
This form will allow you to choose the training session that works best for your player.

June 16 – 20 | FC Storm Camp (optional – additional expense for players who attend)

Aug 4 – 8 | Coaches Preseason Clinic
Aug 4 – 8 | Fall training can begin
Aug 11 – 14 | Preseason Camp for all fall teams
Aug 16 – 17 | Preseason Friendlies for fall teams

SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER
League and Tournament Games
Select teams play 2 tournaments; older teams my play in a out to town tournament
Sept 13 | FC Storm night at FC Cincinnati game
Late October – spring high school teams begin to practice (after high school soccer season ends)
NOVEMBER & DECEMBER
Nov 1 – 8 | Fall leagues and tournaments should be completed
Fall Showcase Tournaments for high school age teams
Grassroots Coaches License Course sponsored by FC Storm
Mid-December to end of Year – Nothing planned
January to May 2026
JANUARY & FEBRUARY
U9 & U10 | Indoor technical training
U11 and Older | Select & Premier Teams train at Loveland High School turf field
